How to Play North Alternation Solitaire

Build the Tableau

Move cards in descending order. One rank lower each time. Drag valid sequences as a block. Empty column? Only a King fits there. Or a king-led sequence. No shortcuts. Plan every stack.

Feed the Foundations

Only the top card moves up. Start with aces. Build by suit. King finishes each pile. Use the Collect action when stuck—sends every available card straight to the foundations. Smart shortcut.

Master the Stock & Waste

Top-left stock deals one card at a time. Lands in the waste pile. Stock empty? Recycle the waste back into the stock. No limit. Keep cycling until you crack the puzzle.

Use Your Tools

Undo bad moves. Hit Hints when stuck. Slam Collect to auto-send foundation cards. These tools don't solve the game. They help you think smarter.
